According to NVIDIA’s own internal benchmarking, the GeForce GTX 970 is ideal to play Fallout 4 at 1920 x 1080 with high setting, 60 GPS gameplay. Neither of these previous-generation cards are available to purchase, but luckily NVIDIA has some recommendations for current generation cards. The official Fallout 4 system requirements call for a GeForce GTX 550 Ti with 2GB of VRAM for 1280×960, minimum setting, 30 FPS gameplay, and a GeForce GTX 780 with 3GB of VRAM for a higher level of detail. The results and notes of that testing is in the tweaking guide! NVIDIA said that they spent hundreds of hours testing every single game setting, config file tweak, and console command to reveal their impact on image quality and their relative performance cost. NVIDA also released a detailed Fallout 4 graphics, performance and tweaking guide that is a must read for gamers that want to get the best Fallout 4 gaming experience on the PC. NVIDIA GeForce 358.91 WHQL do not have any changes to the SLI profiles, 3D Vision Profiles or any Windows fixes included.
